New Details Emerge Regarding The Fake Biden Robocalls

Monday, Kramer claimed he was trying to send a wake-up call regarding the potential malign uses of AI, not actually interfere with the voting.

New details have emerged regarding the fake robocalls that mimicked President Biden last month.

The robocalls were AI generated and attempted to influence the outcome of New Hampshire’s Republican primary.

Political Consultant Steve Kramer, who has been identified as the source of the calls, confirmed he paid a New Orleans street magician $150 to create a recorded message that was sent to thousands of voters two days before the state’s primary.

Monday, Kramer claimed he was trying to send a wake-up call regarding the potential malign uses of AI, not actually interfere with the voting.

While New Hampshire and federal authorities have issued cease and desist orders to two Texas companies involved in transmitting the calls, Kramer said neither of them knew what he was up to.

The FCC has not commented about whether it has subpoenaed Kramer and said it’s working to combat the harmful misuse of AI.
