U.S. And British Militaries Conduct More Strikes Against Houthis In Yemen
This marks the fourth time the U.S. and the U.K. have conducted a combined operation against the Houthis since January 12.
The U.S. and British militaries conducted another strike against Houthi targets in Yemen on Saturday.
American and British fighter jets hit sites in eight locations, targeting missiles, launchers, rockets, drones and air defense systems.
This marks the fourth time the U.S. and the U.K. have conducted a combined operation against the Houthis since January 12.
The U.S. has also been carrying out solo strikes almost daily in attempt to take out targets controlled by the Iran-backed militia group.
The strikes are in response to a recent surge in attacks by Houthis on ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the U.S. will not hesitate to take action and will continue to do so to make clear to Houthis that they’ll bear consequences if the attacks do not stop.
