AT&T To Reimburse Customers Affected By Nationwide Outage
The credit will NOT apply to customers under AT&T's business or prepaid plans or those who have Cricket Wireless accounts.
AT&T is reimbursing customers affected by the nearly 12-hour outage last Thursday.
The mobile network will issue a $5 credit to “potentially impacted” AT&T Wireless customers.
The company says $5 is the “average cost of a full day of service.”
The credit will NOT apply to customers under AT&T’s business or prepaid plans or those who have Cricket Wireless accounts.
The company said they recognize the frustration the outage caused and apologized for any inconveniences.
In addition, AT&T explained the outage was caused by the application and execution of an incorrect process used while they were expanding the network.
