New details have emerged regarding the shooting that left one person dead and over 20 others injured after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade.
Lyndell Mays and Dominic Miller were both charged with second degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action.
Investigators revealed Mays was in a verbal altercation with another person over an issue of staring. Mays then drew a handgun prompting Miller and others to pull firearms, leading to the shootout.
Noone from either group knew each other before the incident.
Though both suspects were charged with murder, Miller’s firearm was the one that fatally wounded 43-year-old Lisa Lopez-Galvan.
These defendants are separate from the two teens who face gun-related and resisting arrest charges.
The case is still being investigated to reveal more.
