Women may be getting more health benefits from exercising than men. A new study finds men need more hours of exercise per week in order to get the same “survival benefit” as women. Researchers examined health data of more than 400-thousand adults in the U.S. from 1997 to 2019. the study found that women who performed regular aerobic exercise were 36-percent less likely to suffer from cardiovascular issues…compared to 14-percent lower risk for men who exercised. Researchers say although the results are different…everyone should still perform some level of physical activity to promote better heart health.
