Student Arrested For Double Homicide At University Of Colorado

The incident appeared to be isolated between individuals who were known to one another and not a random attack against the school or other students.

A student was taken into custody Monday in connection to a double homicide at the University of Colorado.

On Friday, 24-year-old Samuel Knopp and 26-year-old Celie Montgomery were shot and killed in a dorm room on the university’s campus.

Knopp was a student at the school while Montgomery was not currently registered.

The incident appeared to be isolated between individuals who were known to one another and not a random attack against the school or other students.

An investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Nicholas Jordan. He is a student at the university who shared a dorm room with Knopp.

Jordan is now facing two counts of first degree murder.
