Arrest Made In Connection To An Armed Robbery

18-year-old Gadarius Marques Bethea was found with an undisclosed amount of cash totaling to the exact amount stolen from the store.

A suspect has been arrested in connection to a Dillon County robbery.

Around 9:40pm on Tuesday, police responded to an armed robbery at the Dollar General located on Highway 9 West in the Little Rock community.

Upon arrival, deputies were given a description of the male suspect who had fled on foot.

A search was conducted in the surrounding area and a shoe matching the suspect’s attire description was found near a roadway.

Shortly after, a vehicle drove up to the perimeter being searched. Police noticed a passenger in the vehicle that fit the physical description of the suspect. He was only wearing one shoe.

After further investigation, 18-year-old Gadarius Marques Bethea was found with an undisclosed amount of cash totaling to the exact amount stolen from the store.

Bethea was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
