Trump Wins Nevada Republican Presidential Caucuses

Haley cited what she considered an unfair process favoring Trump and instead ran in Nevada's presidential primary where she received less votes than the "none of these candidates" option.

Donald Trump won Nevada’s Republican presidential caucuses Thursday.

The former president was the only major candidate to compete after Nikki Haley, his last standing challenger, skipped the caucuses.

Haley cited what she considered an unfair process favoring Trump and instead ran in Nevada’s presidential primary where she received less votes than the “none of these candidates” option.

However, Trump’s win gained him his third straight state as he attempts to secure his party’s nomination. He needs to accrue over 1,200 delegates in order to do so. The former president is projected to reach that number in March.
