Coastal Grand Mall To Enforce New Youth Curfew Hours

Starting February 23, the mall will require anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 21 or older after 4pm. Security will monitor the entrances.

Coastal Grand Mall has announced plans to enforce weekend curfew hours for children and teenagers under the age of 18.

Starting February 23, the mall will require anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 21 or older after 4pm. Security will monitor the entrances.

The policy will be enforced on Friday and Saturday evenings. However, officials with the mall said the policy can be implemented at any day and time if deemed necessary by management.

The new “Youth Escort Policy” aims to limit disturbances that arise from unsupervised young people.

Teens employed at the mall will still be allowed to work at any time the policy is in effect.
