Ford Recalls Nearly Two Million Explorer SUVs
Owners can contact their local Ford dealership for inspection in which repairs will be made if needed.
Ford announced it has recalled nearly 2 million vehicles.
The recall covers Explorer SUVs between model years 2011 and 2019.
A piece of exterior trim located near the windshields are not properly assembled and could detach while the vehicle is being driven, posing the risk of a crash, and creating a road hazard for other drivers.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition, but the recall was placed out of caution.
