Millions of New Age Furniture Tip Kits designed to prevent furniture from collapsing have been recalled.
The kits include a plastic zip-tie, two brackets, and two screws, and were sold with dressers and other similar furniture pieces manufactured in Vietnam.
The recall was placed due to the possibility of the plastic zip tie becoming brittle or weak which could result in the furniture detaching and potentially posing fatal fall risk to children.
There have been no reported injuries related to the recalled products, but it was issued out of an abundance of caution.
The New Age Furniture Tip Kits were sold in furniture stores nationwide and online since at least November of 2019.
