North Myrtle Beach City Council Discussed Many Issues During Monday’s Meeting

North Myrtle Beach City Council discussed many issues during Monday night’s meeting.
The council voted 3-2 against increasing parking in some areas from $3 to $4. However, Council did approve the first reading of an ordinance to increase the maximum city parking exemptions for Horry County residents from 200 to 250.
Council members also addressed that the city may need to close the Barefoot Swing Bridge for 6-8 weeks during the off-season to work on its sidewalks.
