Laurinburg Police Search For Man Wanted In Connection To Fatal Shooting

Tuesday night, officers responded to Harry O's Food Mart located in the 17000 block of Old Lumberton Road in reference to shots fired.

Laurinburg police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a shooting incident.

Tuesday night, officers responded to Harry O’s Food Mart located in the 17000 block of Old Lumberton Road in reference to shots fired.

Upon arrival, police found 38-year-old Aiken Purvis suffering a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have now issued a warrant for 42-year-old Roy Campbell.
