Strong Storm Causes Many Roads To Close
Conway is now operating under OPCON-1 and crews are responding to several road closures.
The city of Conway is urging residents to stay home.
The city council met Sunday afternoon and passed an emergency declaration for Sunday’s storm.

The roads still closed as of Monday include the following,
- Godfrey Street at Long Avenue
- Elm Street near Oak Street
- West Road at Westside Cemetery
- Sherwood Drive from Godfrey Street to Crescent Drive
- New Road at Creel Street to 501(Church Street)
- Hawthorne Drive
- Long Avenue at Grier Swamp
- Long Avenue from Busbee Street to Azalea Drive
- Collins Jollie from Long Avenue Ext to Ridgewood Drive
- Wild Wing Boulevard between Winyah and Woodstork
