Severe Storm Ravaged Across The Carolina’s

The high winds left behind much damage and flooding prompted several rescue missions for those stuck in vehicles on roads.

Sunday’s storm left behind damage across South and North Carolina.

A tornado briefly touched down in the Socastee and Forestbrook areas. The heaviest damage was reported along Socastee Boulevard and Palmetto Pointe.

A tornado also touched down in the Carolina Forest area leaving damage as well.

High water and flooding has been reported across both states.

Over 25,000 power outages were reported along the Grand Strand alone.

Peak wind gusts ranged from 30 mph in Hartsville to 66 mph in Florence.
