Two Arrested After Search Warrant Leads To Discovery Of Drugs
35-year-old Nicole Acevedo was taken into custody during the time of the warrant execution, but 27-year-old Joshua Lowery was not detained until Tuesday.
Two people have been arrested in connection to the discovery of drugs.
On Friday, Surfside Beach police executed a search warrant of a home located in the 100 block of South Myrtle Drive.
35-year-old Nicole Acevedo was taken into custody during the time of the warrant execution, but 27-year-old Joshua Lowery was not detained until Tuesday.
Both have been charged with trafficking in heroin (28 grams or more), trafficking meth (over 100 grams but less than 200), possession of marijuana and Psilocybin with intent to distribute as well as possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute near a park or playground.
Acevedo has been released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $50,000 bond while Lowery remains incarcerated.
