Propane Exploded In A Carolina Forest Home

No injuries were reported and no one is expected to be displaced at this time.

If you were in the Carolina Forest area on Wednesday you may have witnessed some commotion.

Around 3:00pm, Horry County Fire Rescue was called to a home on Clambake Court after an explosion occurred.

Crews said it appeared the propane around a fireplace was ignited by the pilot light, which exploded and damaged surrounding walls.

No injuries were reported and no one is expected to be displaced at this time.
