House Votes To Formalize Impeachment Inquiry Into President Biden

The investigation will focus on how President Biden allegedly participated in his family's business dealings in which they are accused of personally benefiting from.

House Republicans voted to formalize an impeachment inquiry into President Biden on Wednesday.

Up until this point, House Republicans did not have enough votes to validate their ongoing inquiry with a full chamber vote. On Wednesday, all Republicans approved a resolution authorizing the probe in a 221 to 212 outcome.

This will give them leverage in court as they seek documents and witness testimony, which prompted previously reluctant Republicans to sway.

The investigation will focus on how President Biden allegedly participated in his family’s business dealings in which they are accused of personally benefiting from.
