House Explodes During Attempt To Conduct Search Warrant
56-year-old James Yoo refused to cooperate when authorities arrived which prompted the search warrant.
On Monday night, police in Arlington, Vrginia were caught off guard when a house exploded during an attempt to conduct a search warrant.
The blast destroyed the home as law enforcement were trying to make contact with the suspect inside.
Police arrived at the home after reports of shots fired. 56-year-old James Yoo refused to cooperate when authorities arrived which prompted the search warrant. Multiple gunshots were fired at officers as they attempted to enter the home.
After over 3 hours of attempting to get Yoo to surrender, the house exploded, shooting flames and debris two stories in the air. Human remains were located at the scene and Yoo is presumed to be dead.
The FBI is assisting the investigation that is expected to be extensive due to concerning social media posts Yoo had previously shared.
