Four Candidates Qualified To Participate In Fourth GOP Debate

Former S.C. Governor Nikki Haley, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will all take the stage.

The fourth Republican Primary Debate is set for Wednesday.

Only four candidates have met all requirements needed to participate. Former S.C. Governor Nikki Haley, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will all take the stage.

To qualify, GOP candidates must have polled at least 6% in two national polls or 6% in one national poll and one poll from two separate early voting stages recognized by the Republican National Committee.

Candidates must have also secured at least 80,000 unique donors and have signed the ‘Beat Biden’ pledge, agreeing to support the eventual Republican 2024 nominee.

Former President Donald Trump remains the leading nominee but is skipping this debate as he has the first three.

On Monday, Doug Burgum announced he is dropping out of the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination after failing to qualify for the most recent debates.

The fourth debate is set to be held Wednesday at 8pm at the University of Alabama.
