Conway City Council Votes To Proceed With Proposed Development

Council members and city leaders stated they have been listening to the residents and working out the kinks with a developer over the past few months.

The Conway City Council voted to annex over 1,700 acres of land to accommodate for a proposed development.

The ‘Warden Station Tract Project’ would bring nearly 3,300 units, both multi-family homes and townhomes, to the land, which is located on Pitch Landing road near Highway 701 south.

Many residents have expressed concerns over the project claiming it would bring inconveniences to the area.

Council members and city leaders stated they have been listening to the residents and working out the kinks with a developer over the past few months.

If a second reading passes in January, it could take 16 to 18 months for construction to start.
