Holiday Festivities On The Grand Strand Affected By Impending Weather

Two festive activities along the Grand Strand have been rescheduled due to impending weather.
The Winter Wonderland at the Beach events including the tree lighting, live music and Polar Express movie night will still continue to go according to plan Friday night. However, all the events for Saturday have been canceled due to threats of rain. They also plan to move forward with Sunday’s events as scheduled.
The town of Surfside Beach was set to host its annual tree-lighting festival on Saturday, but due to the rain, the event has been delayed until Monday from 4-8pm.

Santa will be parked in his sleigh at the Christmas tree next to Grand 14 Cinemas: 1004 DeVille Street - Annual Garden of Hope Tree Lighting
1395 Carver Street from 4pm-6pm
This event will have live music, hot chocolate, cookies as well as photos with Santa.
