U.S. Military Sends First Round Of Aid Assistance To Gaza Civilians

The 54,000-pound shipment is the first of three U.S. military aid flights that are set to soon be sent to northern Egypt for Gaza's civilian population.

On Tuesday, the U.S. military delivered its first of three rounds of humanitarian aid intended for the people of Gaza.

The U.S. reportedly airlifted 24.5 metric tons of U.N. humanitarian supplies to provide ‘vitally needed medical supplies, warm clothing, food and nutrition assistance.’

The 54,000-pound shipment is the first of three U.S. military aid flights that are set to soon be sent to northern Egypt for Gaza’s civilian population that has been caught in the crossfire amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

The aid comes after both rivals agreed to extend a truce and continue swapping hostages for prisoners.
