USC And Clemson Set To Faceoff At The Upcoming Palmetto Bowl Game
The game is scheduled to start at 7:30pm on Saturday at the Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
It is officially Palmetto Bowl week and Gamecocks and Tiger fans are gearing up for the rivals to face off.
Students at the University of South Carolina attended the annual tiger burn pep rally. 50 USC Engineering students spent 40 hours building the 30-foot tall tiger that was set on fire in a tradition that dates back over a century.
Clemson also held their own tradition where students held a funeral for Cocky, the USC mascot. This tradition also dates back over 100 years.
Former President Donald Trump will reportedly attend this highly anticipated game. This is known to be the biggest athletic event of the year in S.C., where he boasts strong support heading into next year’s Republican presidential nomination battle.
