Paul Pelosi’s Attacker Convicted On Federal Charges

David DePape has been found guilty of attempted kidnapping of a federal official and assault on the immediate family member of a federal official.

The attacker of Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, was convicted on federal charges.

During his trial testimony, David DePape admitted that he broke into the pelosi home on on October 28th of last year. He said he had intentions to hold Nancy hostage and ‘break her kneecaps’ if she lied to him. He also admitted to hitting Paul Pelosi with a hammer after police showed up at the home, saying his plan was to end what he viewed as government corruption was unraveling. The suspect confirmed he did have other targets to further question after Nancy.

Jurors deliberated for nearly eight hours before finding DePape guilty of attempted kidnapping of a federal official and assault on the immediate family member of a federal official. A sentencing date has not yet been set but a status hearing is scheduled for December 13th.
