Salvation Army Kicks Off It’s Angel Tree Program
Contributors can remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase gifts for who they chose.
The Salvation Army is kicking off it’s Angel Tree program.
The program helps provide Christmas gifts for families in need. Schools and social service agencies alert Salvation Army of families that may need assistance this holiday season.
The organization receives the name of the children or special needs adults and a list of desired Christmas gifts. The Salvation Army then decorates a tree with Angel Tags that are labeled with names, ages, and genders of the person in need.
Contributors can remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase gifts for who they chose.
The program starts Friday and lasts through December 12th.
