Disney Set To Roll Out Disney+/Hulu Bundle Service

The new offer is expected to be available next month ahead of the official launch in spring of next year.

Disney is set to officially become the full owner of Hulu.

However, the company still needs to close its deal with Comcast to buy out NBCUniversal’s 33% stake in Hulu. Disney has offered to pay at least $8.61 billion to buy out the stake.

Despite the hold up, CEO Bob Iger announced plans to launch a test of an app that combines Disney+ and Hulu into a single experience for subscribers of both services. The new offer is expected to be available next month ahead of the official launch in spring of next year.

The company expects Hulu on Disney+ to result in increased engagement, greater ad revenue, reduce customer-acquisition costs and more.

The bundle will cost $9.99 per month with ads and $19.99 per month without.
