Horry County Residents Invited To Public Open House Event

The open house is an opportunity for the public to review and comment on proposed recommendations that address transportation issues.

An open house is scheduled for Horry County residents to attend and express concerns over transportation.

The Grand Strand Area Transportation Study is hosting the open house with a goal to, “provide a forum for cooperative decision-making in developing regional transportation plans and programs to meet changing needs.”

The open house is an opportunity for the public to review and comment on proposed recommendations that address transportation issues along the SC-90 corridor from US-501 business to US-17 and along the Highway 57 corridor from SC-90 to SC-9.

The event will be drop-in style and will take place on thursday from 4-6pm in the multipurpose rooms of the Horry County Government and Justice Center.

The center is located at 1301 2nd Avenue in Conway.
