U.S. Officials Warn Israel Of Limited Time For Conflict

Some U.S. officials believe that a cease-fire must come soon though there have been no signs that Israel's offensive is slowing.

President Biden and his top advisers have warned Israel that it needs a time frame.

The officials warned that it will become extremely strenuous for Israel to pursue its military goals in Gaza as concerns over humanitarian suffering increases globally.

President Biden, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, have all pressed the case in conversations with Israelis, explaining that lack of support will result in consequences for Israel Defense Force’s operations against Hamas.

American officials also believe there is limited time for Israel to accomplish its objective of taking the militant group out, while avoiding humanitarian suffering and civilian casualties.
