Elementary School Student Faces Charges After Allegedly Making Threats
Disciplinary actions are expected to be imposed by the school district along with the Sheriff's Office charges.
On Wednesday, a Georgetown County elementary school student was placed into emergency protective custody for evaluation after an incident.
The student is facing charges after allegedly pulling a knife out of a book bag and threatening another student.
The incident occurred around 7:45a.m. at Sampit Elementary School.
A school resource officer and Sheriff’s Deputies were notified immediately after the actions unfolded.
Disciplinary actions are expected to be imposed by the school district along with the Sheriff’s Office charges.
