An intensive man hunt is currently under way for a person of interest in connection to a mass shooting.

At least 18 people were killed and dozens were left injured in the shooting that took place at a restaurant and a bowling alley in Lewiston, Maine.

40-year-old Robert Card is being sought as a person of interest. Card is a certified firearms instructor and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

It was reported that he had recently threatened to carry out a shooting at a National Guard facility in Sayco, Maine, and reported mental health issues, including hearing voices.

Police are currently searching the city of Lisbon as the town is under lockdown.
