Conway Police Investigate An Alleged Assault At A Haunted Trail

A young girl said she was allegedly pushed and grabbed inappropriately by a group of boys.

Conway police have opened an investigation into an alleged assault incident.

Around 8:15 on Saturday night, police responded to the Conway Sports and Fitness Center on Mill Pond Road on reports of the assault. The center is the location for the Forest of Fear Haunted Trail.

Officers found that a 12-year-old girl, who was portraying an alien character on the trail, had been assaulted and notified her parents. She said she was allegedly pushed and grabbed inappropriately by a group of boys.

Conway officials have not yet commented about the incident but did confirm that it remains under investigation.
