Tesla Recalls Nearly 55,000 Vehicles

The recall was placed due to the possibility that the vehicle can fail to detect low brake fluid in which it would not display a warning light.

Tesla has issued a recall on nearly 55,000 vehicles.

The recall includes Model X vehicles from 2021-2023. It was placed due to the possibility that the vehicle can fail to detect low brake fluid in which it would not display a warning light. Without brake fluid, the vehicle could have reduced braking performance or none at all which poses the risk of a crash.

Tesla has sent an over-the-air software update at no cost to owners. Those who own the affected vehicles will receive a letter in the mail on December 12th.
