Recently Released Hamas Hostage Explains Experience In Captivity
The victim was forced to walk on wet ground leading to an underground tunnel system she described as a spiderweb of connected paths.
In addition to the two Americans freed from Hamas Captivity on Friday, two more were released on Monday.
85-year-old Yocheved Lifshitz shared her experience and what she went through during her captivity. The victim explained she was taken from her home and during the kidnapping was beaten and sustained bruises. She was also forced to walk on wet ground leading to an underground tunnel system she described as a spiderweb of connected paths.
Lifshitz explained she was grouped with 25 other hostages before she was sent into a smaller group of four. They slept on mattresses on the floor of the tunnels, ate the same food as Hamas fighters and received regular treatment from doctors. She added that they were very kind and kept them clean and sanitary.
Lifshitz concluded her remarks by stating that the story’s not over until everybody is freed.
