It’s that time of year again… the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show is always held on the third weekend in October.
This is the 34th annual event that features one of the southeast’s best wooden boat exhibits with over 100 classic boats displayed on land and water.
The event also has boat-building activities, a corrugated boat race, children’s model boat-building, a youth sailing regatta, knot tying, maritime arts and crafts, and of-course food.
The Wooden Boat Show takes place on the waterfront and along Front Street in downtown Georgetown. All proceeds benefit the South Carolina Maritime Museum.
