Florence Police Investigate A Shooting Incident That Left One Person Injured

Officers were informed that a dark colored sedan pulled up and fired multiple shots, hitting the victim and a nearby shed.

One person was left injured after a shooting incident that occurred Thursday morning.

Around 1a.m., Florence County Police responded to the 1100 block of Diggs Avenue after receiving a call reporting shots fired. Upon arrival, they found a victim who was shot in the foot and two other people who appeared unwounded but remained on the scene.

Officers were informed that a dark colored sedan pulled up and fired multiple shots, hitting the victim and a nearby shed.

Several shell casings were found in the area but there are no apparent suspects at this time.
