United Airlines Presents Changes To How Passengers Board Their Flights
Assigned window seats will board first in an attempt to keep flyers from the usual up and down after already being seated that allows neighboring passengers to sit.
The way passengers board United Airlines flights is changing.
Pre-boarding qualifications still stand including those with disabilities, Active-duty military, unaccompanied minors as well as families traveling with children 2 and under and more.
First-class and business-class ticket holders will still board the plane after pre-boarders as they do now. Customers who are a part of the airline’s membership will board following first and business class.
For United passengers flying economy, assigned window seats will board first in an attempt to keep flyers from the usual up and down after already being seated that allows neighboring passengers to sit. Then exit row seats will be boarded proceeding to middle seats and finally aisle seats.
The new boarding process, known as ‘WILMA’, will begin for flights on October 26th.
