Miss SC Teen Volunteer Aims to Bring Awareness to Bullying with Kindness Project
Gracie Arnold, Miss South Caroline Teen Volunteer, talks with Audra about Angel Kisses, a service project that teaches the importance of kindness and inclusion.
Gracie Arnold was crowned Miss South Caroline Teen Volunteer in August and joins Audra in the studio today to share about her journey to the crown and her service project, Angel Kisses, that teaches the importance of kindness and inclusion. To date she has spoken and read to over 400 kindergarten and elementary children Gracie is a four-time gold medal presidential community service recipient for her outstanding community service. This summer, with the help of her dad, Gracie built and placed her first blessing box at House of Hope’s Courtney McGinnis Homeless Shelter. Follow Gracie on Instagram and Facebook.
The Miss Volunteer America pageant is a Tennessee based nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities. Contestants compete in personal interview, fitness wear, talent, and evening gown at both the state and national pageants. Gracie will represent South Carolina at the national pageant in Jackson, Tennessee. The Miss Teen Volunteer America pageant will take place in March, 2024, and Miss Volunteer America in June, 2024.
