The Conway Medical Center Offers A Clinic For Student Athletes

The clinic is the first of its kind and aims to assist those hurt who cannot wait until Monday to see a doctor.

The Conway Medical Center is offering a clinic for student athletes.

CMC medical professionals have been on the sidelines of four Horry County schools for football this year including Socastee, St. James, Conway, and Carolina Forest. The medical professionals on the sidelines are on stand-by in case an athlete is injured on the field.

However, they believe that some students may not even realize they’re hurt until after the game or the following day. The clinic is the first of its kind and aims to assist those hurt who cannot wait until Monday to see a doctor.

The clinic is open every Saturday until October 28th from 9-11a.m. at the Conway Medical Center location in Socastee on Highway 707.
