Price Hikes Hitting Girls Scout Cookies

Girl Scout cookies may be taking a little more out of your wallet soon. Reports say the beloved cookies have gone up in price. Boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas, and other treats could reach six dollars a box, up from five dollars last year. Inflation is raising the cost of ingredients and production. The cookies are usually sold between January and April to help local girls’ troops learn skills…such as business ethics and marketing.
