Business Burglaries Along Highway 501 Left Stores Damaged
Everyone in the area is asked to check cameras for anything out of the ordinary and anyone with any information is urged to call Marion County authorities.
We have an update on the series of burglaries that occurred in Marion County on Friday.
The businesses along Highway 501 that were broken-into include, the Palmetto Express convenience store, James Auto Service, two fruit stands, and the Myrtle Beach Visitor’s Center.
At Palmetto Express $900 was taken from the register, around $10,000 in damage was done and part of the back wall was broken. Surveillance video captured a man entering and leaving through the hole in the wall.
The burglar also took around $500-600 worth of change, a new set of chest waders and some power tools from the auto shop.
