Israel Citizens Can Soon Travel To The U.S. Without Visas
U.S. officials stressed that Israel's status in the program will be under constant watch and if it is witnessed as failing to comply, the special visa waiver status can be revoked.
The Biden administration will soon grant citizens of Israel permission to travel to the U.S. without a visa.
Starting on November 30th, Israelis will be allowed to travel to the U.S. for business or pleasure purposes and stay for up to 90 days without a visa by registering with the Electronic System for Travel Authorization.
The agreement aims to enhance the two nations’ collaboration on counter-terrorism, law enforcement and other common priorities. Countries that take part in the visa program must meet three critical benchmarks and Israel met two over the past two years.
