Mattel Reveals New Pictionary Vs. AI Game

The difference between this game and traditional Pictionary is players will work together to stump the AI instead of each other.

Mattel announced a new version of one of their games involving artificial intelligence.

Pictionary Vs. AI is the brand’s first game to incorporate AI technology and marks Mattel’s first major leap into the category. The difference between this game and traditional Pictionary is players will work together to stump the AI instead of each other.

The similarities between the two versions are you still get a clue from a card and draw on the included whiteboard. The drawing is then sent to a smart-phone where it is analyzed by a proprietary AI. This algorithm attempts to guess what you drew while everyone else attempts to predict whether or not the AI will be able to successfully guess what was drawn.

Pictionary Vs. AI is set to go on sale on Monday for $25.
