The Lumbee Tribe Is Set To Host Their Dance of the Harvest Moon Powwow
Dancers and tribal members nationwide will make their way down to Lumberton to celebrate the history and culture of American Indian and Indigenous people.
The Lumbee Tribe is gearing up to host their Dance of the Harvest Moon Powwow event.
Dancers and tribal members nationwide will make their way down to Lumberton to celebrate the history and culture of American Indian and Indigenous people. An estimated 8 thousand people are expected to attend taking part in dancing, food, and fun activities.
Tribe officials said all people are welcome to come out and celebrate no matter their background. Tickets are $10 for eighteen and up and for those under 18, tickets are $5.
The event is set to be held this weekend at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center located at 638 Terry Sanford Drive in Maxton.
