Nearly 260,000 Children’s Books Have Been Recalled

The plastic binding rings that keep the books intact have been reportedly detaching and could be swallowed by children.

Around 260 thousand children’s books have been recalled due to the risk of choking.

Rainbow Road Series Board Books with classic titles such as ‘Old MacDonald Had A Farm’, ‘Dinosaurs First Word’, and ‘There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly’, are among those being recalled.

The plastic binding rings that keep the books intact have been reportedly detaching and could be swallowed by children. no injuries have been reported so far, but the recall was placed out of an abundance of caution.

The books have been sold at Target, Barnes and Noble, as well as other online stores and Amazon. They were also available at school book fairs nationwide.
