Costco Employee Finds and Returns Envelope with nearly $4K to Customer

The Costco employee was putting away cases of water when he spotted an envelope that had nearly $4,000 in cash.

You don’t hear about this everyday, an envelope full of money being returned, but it happened at a Costco recently.  It was a very honest employee who found it.  He was putting away cases of water when he spotted an envelope that had nearly $4,000 in cash.   The employee immediately alerted his managers and tracked down the owner using store surveillance and the Costco member ID.   There’s another happy ending.  The employee had always wanted to be employee of the month.  He now has a plaque inside that Costco with that title!
