Myrtle Beach Hosts Events To Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15th marks the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month and Myrtle Beach will host several events to celebrate.

In honor of Heritage Month, the Chapin Memorial Library has a display for people to learn about cultures, historic events and landmarks. The books are in English, Spanish and both languages to help people become bilingual.
On September 23rd, the ‘Latinos in Myrtle Beach’ group is hosting the ‘Mini Family Festival’. It will have vendors, food, music and family fun. This event will be at the Burgess Community Center from 11am-6pm.
On October 14th the 2nd annual Hispanic Heritage Festival will be held in the Advance America parking lot in the Socastee area from 9am-2pm. This event will have a live DJ, a bounce house, local Hispanic vendors, food trucks and more.
On September 27th the first of five movies will be showing at Coastal Carolina University’s Theater, in the Lib Jackson Student Union. The movies will be played throughout the Fourth Annual Latin American Film Festival. The other films will play every Wednesday at 5pm until October 25th.
