Lions Beat The Chiefs In The First NFL Game Of The Season

Lions running back David Montgomery to score a touch down with just seven minutes left in the game leading the his team to a 21-20 victory for the first game of the season.

Thursday night, the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs kicked off the NFL season at Arrowhead Stadium.

The game was tied in the third quarter after Lions rookie, Brian Branch picked off Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes and returned it for a touchdown.

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker kicked two field goals to put his team back in the lead with a score of 20-14 only for Lions running back David Montgomery to score a touch down with just seven minutes left in the game leading the his team to a 21-20 victory for the first game of the season.
