New Hotel To Open Soon In Downtown Georgetown

The new hotel is not only expected to bring visitors to the historic town, but provide 30 to 40 additional jobs as well.

Downtown Georgetown will soon have a new amenity for residents and tourists to enjoy.

The George hotel is set to be located on a waterfront property along front street next to the So Co Grille restaurant. It will consist of 56 rooms and suites for guests.

The boutique style hotel is also expected to have a full-service restaurant, bar, and even a space for private events.

The decor will feature paintings from local artists and will be inspired by 18th and 19th century architecture.

The new hotel is not only expected to bring visitors to the historic town, but provide 30 to 40 additional jobs as well.

The George is set to open later this fall.
