Two Districts Enforce Stricter Rules For Football Games After Incidents

Anyone not following the rules will be removed from the premises and banned from all district events.

Two school districts have revealed new rules regarding football games after two separate incidents.

Last Friday, a fight broke out at a Darlington County football game and on the same night another altercation involving gunshots took place at a football game in Georgetown County.

Both districts have released similar rules that will now be enforced at the remaining football games.

All high schoolers must now present their student ID to enter the stadium and all students 8th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.

All attendees must pass through the weapons detectors before entry as well and only clear bags are permitted to carry in.

No tickets will be sold after half-time.

Finally, no re-entry will be allowed once a guest exits the stadium.

Anyone not following the rules will be removed from the premises and banned from all district events.
